This Monarch Grande ballpoint pen features gun metal and antique rose copper trim and a body made from 5500 year old Ukrainian Bog Oak. This wood was buried in a swamp for over five millennia and then reclaimed as timber. Included is a certificate of radio-carbon dating from Laval University authenticating the age of the wood. This pen has a slightly larger diameter than standard Monarch pens but still uses standard Parker style refills.
