This custom, hand-painted Vertex fountain pen features gun metal metalwork and a body made from "Orion" DiamondCast resin. The customer requested a Star Trek themed pen so we added a handprinted version of the Enterprise to the pen. The "Orion" body material resembles a nebula and works as a perfect background to the star ship. The cap is magnetic so it posts on either end of the pen quickly and easily. The pen uses either an included ink converter for use with bottled ink or universal style ink cartridges.
